for freeing the captive
הַנּוֹתֵן לַיָּעֵף כֹּֽחַ
שֶׁעָשַׂנִי בְּצֶלֶם אֱלֹהִים
to engage with words of Torah
for spreading the earth on the water
שֶׁעָשַׂנִי יִשְׂרָאֵל
for strengthening our footsteps
רוֹקַע הָאָֽרֶץ עַל הַמָּֽיִם
אוֹזֵר יִשְׂרָאֵל בִּגְבוּרָה
לַעֲשׂוֹק בְּדִבְרֵי תוֹרָה
who made me in the image of God
שֶׁעָשַׂנִי בֶּןבָּת חוֹרִי
מַתִּיר אֲסוּרִים
הַמֵּכִין מִצְעֲדֵי גָֽבֶר
who has made me free (literally son or daughter of freedom)
for giving strength to the weary
for lifting up the fallen (literally for straightening the bent)
זוֹקֵף כְּפוּפִים
who girds (literally helps) Israel with strength
