לַעֲשׂוֹק בְּדִבְרֵי תוֹרָה
הַנּוֹתֵן לַיָּעֵף כֹּֽחַ
שֶׁעָשַׂנִי יִשְׂרָאֵל
פּוֹקֵֽחַ עִוְרִים
עוֹטֵר יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּתִפְאָרָה
שֶׁעָשַׂנִי בֶּןבָּת חוֹרִי
for freeing the captive
זוֹקֵף כְּפוּפִים
הַמַּעֲבִיר שֵׁנָה מֵעֵינָי וּתְנוּמָה מֵעַפְעַפָּי
מַתִּיר אֲסוּרִים
for giving sight to the blind
for strengthening our footsteps
for wiping the sleep from my eyes and slumber from my eyelids
for lifting up the fallen (literally for straightening the bent)
for crowning Israel with glory
who has made me a Jew
