הַמְעַט מִכֶּם

כִּי־הִבְדִּיל אֱלֹקֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶתְכֶם

That the G-D of Bnei Yisrael separated you

מֵעֲדַת יִשְׂרָאֵל

From the congregation of Yisrael
7/
לְהַקְרִיב אֶתְכֶם אֵלָיו

To be bring you close to Him
8/
לַעֲבֹד
8/32
To serve
9/
אֶת־עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁכַּן ה'

The serving of the Mishkan of Hashem
10/
וְלַעֲמֹד
10/32
And to stand
11/
לִפְנֵי הָעֵדָה

Befpre the congregation

לְשָׁרְתָם

To serve them

וַיַּקְרֵב אֽתְךָ

And he brought you close

וְאֶת־כָּל־אַחֶיךָ

And all your brothers

בְנֵי־לֵוִי

The sons of Levi

אִתָּךְ

With you
17/
וּבִקַּשְׁתֶּם

And your requested

גַּם־כְּהֻנָּה

Also to be Kohanim

לָכֵן

Therefore

אַתָּה

You

וְכָל־עֲדָתְךָ

And all your congregation

הַנּֽעָדִים עַל־ה’

Who are joining on (against) Hashem

וְאַהֲרֹן

And Aharon

מַה־הוּא

What is he

כִּי תַלִּינוּ עָלָיו

That you are complaining against him?
26/
הִתְחִיל לְדַבֵּר עִמּוֹ דְּבָרִים רַכִּים

He began to speak with him softly

כֵּיוָן שֶׁרָאָהוּ קְשֵׁה עֹרֶף

Once he saw he was stubborn

אָמַר

He said

עַד שֶׁלֹּא יִשְׁתַּתְּפוּ שְׁאָר הַשֵּׁבֶט

Before the rest of the shevet joins

וְיֹאבְדוּ עִמּוֹ

And they are lost with him
31/
אֲדַבֵּר גַּם אֶל כֻּלָּם

I will speak also to all of them

הִתְחִיל לְזָרֵז בָּהֶם

He began to encourage them
