וַיִּחַר לְמֹשֶׁה מְאֹד

And Moshe was very upset

וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־ה'

And he said to Hashem

אַל־תֵּפֶן אֶל־מִנְחָתָם

To not turn to their korban

לֹא חֲמוֹר אֶחָד מֵהֶם נָשָׂאתִי

Not a single donkey of theirs did I take

וְלֹא הֲרֵעֹתִי

And I did not do bad

אֶת־אַחַד מֵהֶם

To one of them

וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל־קֹרַח

And Moshe said to Korach
8/
אַתָּה וְכָל־עֲדָתְךָ

You and your whole congregation

הֱיוּ לִפְנֵי ה'

Should be before Hashem
10/
אַתָּה וָהֵם וְאַהֲרֹן

You and them and Aharon

מָחָר

וּקְחוּ אִישׁ מַחְתָּתוֹ

And each man shall take his pan

וּנְתַתֶּם עֲלֵיהֶם קְטֹרֶת

And put onto them ketores
14/
וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם לִפְנֵי ה'

And you shall come close before Hashem
15/
אִישׁ מַחְתָּתוֹ

Each man his pan
16/
חֲמִשִּׁים וּמָאתַיִם מַחְתֹּת

וְאַתָּה וְאַהֲרֹן

You and Aharon
18/
וַיִּקְחוּ אִישׁ מַחְתָּתוֹ

And each man shall take his pan
19/
וַיִּתְּנוּ עֲלֵיהֶם אֵשׁ

And they shall place on them fire
20/
וַיָּשִׂימוּ עֲלֵיהֶם קְטֹרֶת

And place on them ketores
21/
וַיַּעַמְדוּ פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד

And they shall stand at the opening of the Ohel Moed

וּמֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן

וַיַּקְהֵל עֲלֵיהֶם קֹרַח

And Korach gathered on them

אֶת־כָּל־הָעֵדָה

אֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד

To the opening of the Ohel Moed

וַיֵּרָא כְבוֹד־ה'

And the Honor of Hashem appeared

אֶל־כָּל־הָעֵדָה

To the whole congregation

בְּדִבְרֵי לֵצָנוּת

With words of making fun
29/
כָּל הַלַּיְלָה הַהוּא

That whole night
30/
הָלַךְ אֵצֶל הַשְּׁבָטִים

He went to the shevatim
31/
וּפִתָּה אוֹתָם
31/40
And convinced them
32/
כִּסְבוּרִין אַתֶּם
32/40
Do you think
33/
שֶׁעָלַי לְבַדִּי אֲנִי מַקְפִּיד
33/40
That I am only bothered for myself
34/
אֵינִי מַקְפִּיד
34/40
I am not bothered
35/
אֶלָּא בִּשְׁבִיל כֻּלְּכֶם
35/40
Only for all of you
36/
אֵלּוּ בָאִין
36/40
These come
37/
וְנוֹטְלִין כָּל הַגְּדֻלּוֹת
37/40
And take all the greatness
38/
לוֹ הַמַּלְכוּת
38/40
For him is kingdom
39/
וּלְאָחִיו הַכְּהֻנָּה
39/40
And for his brother is the kehunah
40/
עַד שֶׁנִּתְפַּתּוּ כֻלָּם

Until they all were all convinced
