they cannot scratch a scratch
for his mother and father
they will be holy to their G-d
וְלֹא יְחַלְּלוּ שֵׁם אלקֵיהֶם
and in their flesh
he cannot become tamay for a dead body
and his son and daughter
קְדשִׁים יִהְיוּ לֵאלקֵיהֶם
וְלִבְנוֹ וּלְבִתּוֹ
וּבִבְשָׂרָם
לֹא יְגַלֵּחוּ
לֹא יִשְׂרְטוּ שָׂרָטֶת
לְנֶפֶשׁ לֹא־יִטַּמָּא
לְהֵחַלּוֹ
לְאִמּוֹ וּלְאָבִיו
אֲשֶׁר לֹא־הָיְתָה לְאִישׁ
they cannot shave
and they CANNOT disgrace the name of their G-d
