הִנְנִי שְׁלָחֵנִי

שִׁמְעוּ שָׁמוֹעַ וְאַל תָּבִינוּ

You surely hear but you don’t understand

הַשְׁמֵן לֵב הָעָם הַזֶּה

The heart of this nation has become fat

וָשָׁב וְרָפָא לוֹ

And he’ll return and be healed
5/
עַד אֲשֶׁר אִם שָׁאוּ עָרִים

Until the cities are desolate
6/
וְהָאֲדָמָה תִּשָּׁאֶה שְׁמָמָה

And the land lies completely desolate
7/
וְרַבָּה הָעֲזוּבָה בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ

And there will be great abandonment in the midst of the land
8/
וְעוֹד בָּהּ עֲשִׂרִיָּה

And when there is still one tenth in it
9/
וְשָׁבָה וְהָיְתָה לְבָעֵר

And it will return and it will be cleansed

כָּאֵלָה וְכָאַלּוֹן

Like the terebinth and like the oak

אֲשֶׁר בְּשַׁלֶּכֶת מַצֶּבֶת בָּם

That in the fall, it has a trunk

זֶרַע קֹדֶשׁ מַצַּבְתָּהּ

The holy seed is the trunk
