ישֵׁב עַל כִּסֵּא רָם וְנִשָּׂא |
Sitting on a high and lofty throne |

| 2 |
וְשׁוּלָיו מְלֵאִים אֶת הַהֵיכָל |
And its legs filled the chamber |
|
|
|
|
| 3 |
בִּשְׁתַּיִם יְכַסֶּה פָנָיו |
With two he covered his face |
|
|
|
|
| 4 |
וּבִשְׁתַּיִם יְעוֹפֵף |
And with two he “flew” |
|
|
|
|
| 5 |
וַיָּנֻעוּ אַמּוֹת הַסִּפִּים |
And the lengths of the doorposts were shaking |
|
|
|
|
| 6 |
וְהַבַּיִת יִמָּלֵא עָשָׁן |
And the house was filled with smoke |
|
|
|
|
| 7 |
אוֹי לִי כִי נִדְמֵיתִי |
Woe is to me for I was silent |
|
|
|
|
| 8 |
וּבְיָדוֹ רִצְפָּה |
And in his hand was a coal |
|
|
|
|
| 9 |
בְּמֶלְקָחַיִם לָקַח |
He took it with tongs |
|
|
|
|
| 10 |
הִנֵּה נָגַע זֶה עַל שְׂפָתֶיךָ |
Beyond this has touched your lips |
|
|
|
|
| 11 |
וְסָר עֲוֹנֶךָ |
And your sin has been turned away |
|
|
|
|
| 12 |
וְחַטָּאתְךָ תְּכֻפָּר |
And your sin has been removed |
