וַיָּנֻעוּ אַמּוֹת הַסִּפִּים

ישֵׁב עַל כִּסֵּא רָם וְנִשָּׂא

And its legs filled the chamber

And the lengths of the doorposts were shaking

אוֹי לִי כִי נִדְמֵיתִי

And your sin has been turned away

וְשׁוּלָיו מְלֵאִים אֶת הַהֵיכָל

וּבְיָדוֹ רִצְפָּה

And with two he “flew”

הִנֵּה נָגַע זֶה עַל שְׂפָתֶיךָ

וְהַבַּיִת יִמָּלֵא עָשָׁן

Beyond this has touched your lips

Woe is to me for I was silent

בְּמֶלְקָחַיִם לָקַח

Sitting on a high and lofty throne

And the house was filled with smoke

וּבִשְׁתַּיִם יְעוֹפֵף

וְסָר עֲוֹנֶךָ

He took it with tongs

And in his hand was a coal
