וַיָּֽשֶׁב ה’ עֲלֵהֶם אֶת מֵי הַיָּם

all of the dwellers of Canaan melted away

לְעָלַם וּלְעָלְמֵי עָלְמַיָּא

and hashem will be the king over the whole earth

he will be king for ever and ever

מִקְּדָשׁ, אֲדֹנָי, כּוֹנְנוּ יָדֶֽיךָ

and hashem turned the waters of the sea back on them

כִּי בָא סוּס פַּרְעֹה בְּרִכְבּוֹ

עַם זוּ קָנִֽיתָ

מָכוֹן לְשִׁבְתְּךָ פָּעַֽלְתָּ

נָמֹֽגוּ כֹּל יֹשְׁבֵי כְנָֽעַן

this nation that you have acquired

וְהָיָה ה’ לְמֶֽלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָֽרֶץ
