To have us die

כִּי הֶעֱלִיתָנוּ

הַמְעַט

Their mouths made them stumble

בַּחֲבֵרוֹ

That you took us up

on his friend

Is it so little

שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם אֶלָּא יְרִידָה

We will not go up.

לַהֲמִיתֵנוּ

For they will only have a going down

חָלָב

כְּאָדָם

And they said

לֹא נַעֲלֶה

Milk

וַיּֽאמְרוּ
